hello, we are kate and jason, your hosts here at the tillerman. we have been dreaming up this place for much of our lives and after all these years it has finally taken shape, we can’t wait to show you around!

we are somewhere in our 40s and have spent the last 20 years in northern california working in restaurants, sustainable agriculture, catering, and hospitality.

now we’re here in vermont, with our two boys, ready to do it all over again.

while not “working” you can often find jason tinkering with old parts or researching barrel saunas. kate will likely be frustrated with technology of some sort or catching up with an old friend.
